Team Building Ideas

by Alison Gray

When John Dunne penned the phrase: “No man is an island”, he could well have been writing about the work ethos of corporate organizations to-day.

Though we live and work in a world that is becoming increasingly complex, the techniques for effective meetings are basic and haven’t changed much over the years–and it doesn’t matter whether the meeting is face-to-face in a conference room or auditorium or held electronically through video or teleconferencing. If you think the meetings you attend or facilitate could be more interesting and productive, a refresher course in meeting fundamentals will help.

Diverse business group meetingThe purpose of relationship building in the workplace is pretty simple really. There is value for all sides of the equation and within that, it’s important to acknowledge that there is a bottom line.
